About Krista
Krista engages new and existing members to ensure they receive the various benefits of ABA membership. She applies her skills in project management and communication to connect with members and facilitate engagement opportunities. Behind the scenes, Krista manages ABA’s membership data, assists members, and supports the administrative tasks of the Membership team.
Prior to working with ABA, Krista worked in the museum field, where she managed museum membership and volunteers, facilitated community programming, and assisted in day-to-day operations of nonprofit organizations. Her background has prepared her to work with a large, diverse group of members and simultaneously manage a variety of projects.
Krista is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a double major in History and Political Science, and minor in Museum Studies. Krista is active in the American-Latvian community and dances with the DC Latvian folk-dance group, Namejs. Since moving to DC from northeast Ohio, she has enjoyed exploring the many museums and historical sites in the area.
