Membership
Serving Members from commercial baking companies and suppliers to baking industry entrepreneurs, the American Bakers Association (ABA) is the only bakery-specific national and state trade association, delivering results on priorities affecting the companies that feed the world.
Leading positive change for our Members
ABA serves Members by providing critical services while developing and launching aggressive strategic initiatives on behalf of the entire baking industry. The number and complexity of issues range from workforce challenges to an uncertain and volatile legislative and regulatory landscape. Our work directly reflects the urgent needs of our Members.
Benefits
For over 125 years, the American Bakers Association has been committed to providing world-class services to our Members. ABA's deep understanding of the baking industry's challenges fuels the solutions and programs that remove obstacles and enable opportunities so our Members can thrive.
Member Resources
ABA Members face unprecedented challenges with their businesses, employees, and customers. Whether it's meeting the needs of professional development, federal and state advocacy, issue updates and analysis, or industry research, ABA provides award-winning resources to Members and their employees so they can thrive now and always.
Professionals Groups
An exclusive benefit of Membership and available to all Member employees, ABA's Professionals Groups bring together the collective knowledge and experience of our Members’ issues experts to explore, develop, and align the baking industry’s priorities.
Member Committees
Member Committees differ from Professionals Groups in that they do not focus on federal and state policy issues. Instead, their focus is on ABA programs and the association. Committees work with ABA staff to help improve ABA's programs, the association, and the baking industry at-large.
Bakers' Forum
The Bakers’ Forum is ABA’s new resource for members who wish to discuss and learn about issues relating to operating a small business in the wholesale baking industry. The Forum provides ABA’s small business members with a community of peers to share information, learn best practices, and engage with ABA on topics specific to the small business community.
Join ABA
ABA's Membership options are as varied as the products our Members create. Our dynamic dues structure meets Members where they are to help get them to where they're going. Our Member categories include Baker, Allied, International, and Baking Industry Entrepreneur Memberships. ABA's Membership team can help determine which partnership opportunity is most beneficial for our Members.
