Bakers' ENERGY STAR Challenge
ABA has teamed with the Environmental Protection Agency to promote the ENERGY STAR® Challenge for the baking industry, a national call-to-action to improve the energy efficiency of America’s industrial facilities. The Challenge recognizes participating manufacturers that improve their energy efficiency by 10 percent or more within five years.

American Bakers Association member facilities represent 43 of the 95 manufacturing plants recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) ENERGY STAR certification for their superior energy performance in 2019.
