ABA Members should have received posters this week from our Education team. The education poster sent to ABA member offices informs employees throughout the plant about the training resources available to them with ABA membership. Please consider hanging this informative poster in a high-traffic area of the facility, such as a workroom or a hallway. If your plant did not receive a poster, please let us know and we will send one out right away.
Workforce Development is Critical
Workforce education and training are critical initiatives to grow a business. ABA’s unique industry-specific educational programs can improve business’s ROI through employee retention and training. ABA membership is the first step to establish a partnership that will help promote and improve a business. Companies then have access to ABA’s exclusive curriculum to raise performance, boost morale, and transform cultures.
Cookie & Cracker Academy and Front Line Leadership Programs
ABA’s online Cookie & Cracker Academy and our in-person bakery-specific Front Line Leadership programs can power employee training efforts.
By establishing procedures using ABA’s educational programs, management will have clear guidelines to take the necessary steps in their employee’s development goals. For example:
- Is there a budget?
- Are new hires required take the Entry Level Training Program as part of their onboarding process?
- To become a Supervisor or Plant Manager, are certain classes required?
Workforce Education Return on Investment
Organizations measuring and monitoring employee development ROI can expect to see benefits such as improved employee retention, productivity, and a considerable reduction in bad batches. In addition, successful completion of ABA’s educational programs could be considered part of an employee’s annual performance evaluation.
We are committed to help find the right training fit for every facility.
