Baking manufacturing requires technical skills knowledge, and those skills and knowledge must be learned. ABA’s Bakers Manufacturing Academy has all the training courses to prepare cookie and cracker professionals. With three different training options, there are programs that fit all skill and knowledge levels.
For beginners…
Entry Level Training Program
An introductory program that provides the basic foundational information that all cookie and cracker personnel must know to work in plant operations environment. With four web-based lessons covering ingredients, mixing, forming, and baking, this course teaches the fundamentals necessary to build a career in baking manufacturing. For mid-level professionals…
Intermediate Training Course
A mid-level course for individuals who are beyond a beginner’s level of knowledge, but who may not yet be ready to learn about the science and theory of the manufacturing process. Students will participate in 12 individual lessons based on specific product type and/or the equipment used to produce it, such as sandwiching and the ins-and-outs of a rotary molder.

Cookie & Cracker Manufacturing Course
An advanced training program that provides an in-depth technical understanding of the complete cookie and cracker manufacturing process. Students will learn about the science and theory behind cookie and cracker production along with context and essentials behind bakery operations.
